Located at an altitude of 3875m above mean sea level, Kanji is a picture-perfect location in the Leh district of Ladakh. Home to approx. 52 families, this village relies mostly on farming activities, evident from the numerous farms that dot this village. The trek from Kanji to Tsokmitisik covers the following route: Leh – Kanji – Rugyokdo – Dibling – Lingshed Sumdo – Hanamula Base – Padum – Dorzong – Tsokmitsik and would take 20 days to complete. Best visited in the months of July to September, this trek can be classified as a moderate trek.
