Trip Note :
The Nun Expedition takes place in a remote, high-altitude region of the Indian Himalayas, where weather conditions, terrain, and local circumstances can change rapidly and without prior notice. While we carefully schedule our expeditions during the most favorable climbing seasons, flights to and from Leh are subject to delays or cancellations due to weather conditions or operational constraints.
In the event of flight disruptions or itinerary changes beyond our control, any additional expenses—including accommodation, meals, transportation, or personal costs—will be borne by the participant. Altitude Adventure will extend full logistical assistance and support to help make alternative arrangements wherever possible.
Please note that mountain weather, glacier conditions, altitude-related challenges, and overall group safety may require necessary modifications to the planned itinerary. This may include adjustments to acclimatization schedules, camp placements, summit attempts, or climbing routes. All decisions made by the expedition leader regarding safety, route selection, and expedition management are final and must be respected by all participants.
As the Nun Expedition reaches elevations exceeding 7,000 meters, participants must understand that summit success cannot be guaranteed. The extreme altitude, unpredictable weather, and physical demands of the climb make flexibility and resilience essential. The safety, health, and well-being of all team members will always take precedence over reaching the summit.
We strongly advise participants to maintain flexible travel plans, including buffer days before and after the expedition. Additionally, it is mandatory to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers high-altitude mountaineering (above 7,000 meters), emergency evacuation, and medical contingencies.
Altitude Adventure is committed to delivering a safe, professional, and memorable mountaineering experience, upholding the highest standards of safety, logistics, and support throughout the Nun Expedition.
