Trip Note :
This motorcycle expedition is meant for riders who have good riding experience. The tour includes long riding days through the remote areas of the Great Himalayas at altitudes from 3,500 m (11,483 ft) in Leh to 5,798 m (19,024 ft) at Umling La, the World's Highest Motor able Road.
Many places on this route are far from towns and hospitals. Medical facilities are very limited in these remote areas. If anyone feels unwell or gets injured, our tour leader and support team will provide first aid and basic assistance. Our backup vehicle will take the rider to the nearest medical centre or hospital if needed.
Please remember that helicopter rescue or ambulance services are not easily available in many parts of Ladakh. Mobile network is also very limited, and there may be no phone signal in Umling La.
The weather in the Himalayas can change quickly. Rain, snowfall, landslides, water crossings, or road repairs may affect the road conditions and daily riding plan. For the safety of the group, the Tour Leader may change the route or itinerary if required.
We strongly recommend that every participant buys travel insurance that covers motorcycle touring, high-altitude travel, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, and personal accidents.
Our experienced road captain, mechanic, and support team will always do their best to make your journey safe and enjoyable. However, travelling in the Himalayas is an adventure, and every rider should be prepared for changing weather, rough roads, and unexpected situations.
Your safety is always our first priority.
